OUR FOUNDER & FATHER AHMET OZKAL
Laying the foundations of our premises in 1974, Ahmet Ozkal stayed here for his family’s holidays. In 1981, he began to operate Kumlubuku Yacht Club as a restaurant.
Founder of the first yacht club in Turkey, Ahmet Ozkal, so-called “Hollandali Ahmet” (Dutch Ahmet) started a restaurant in a virgin bay in Marmaris-Kumlubuk. Known to be charismatic by his friends, Ahmet Ozkal married his beloved wife Sirin Ozkal three years after establishment of the restaurant. Having lived his life to the fullest, he passed away in 2013.
OUR MOTHER SIRIN OZKAL
In 1984, she fell in love with the unique setting of Kumlubuk and Ahmet . Always backing him up with great love and support..Today Sirin plays an important role in managing Kumlubuku Yacht Club. Starting every day early with an endless energy, Sirin meticulously runs her business with great love and professionalism.
NEW GENERATION
The next generation to take over the command of the Kumlubuku Yacht Club are Vendela, Demir and Ahmet, inspired by their love for their late fatherand their passion for Kumlubuk.
